Tiers

Each deck gets a score from three things, in win-rate points over a coin flip.

• Win rate into the field (45%). Its win rate against every other deck, weighted by how much of the field that deck was. Mirrors and ties don't count. Small samples are pulled toward 50%, so a 3–1 matchup counts as about 54%, not 75%.
• Conversion (25%). How often its players finish high, next to what the rest of the field did at the same events. A win counts three times, a Top 8 twice and a Top 32 once (online events of 64+ players); at majors, Day 2 takes the place of Top 32.
• Top 8s (30%). Its share of all the wins and Top 8s that week. This one rewards being everywhere at the top, so a deck that's a fifth of the field and still takes a quarter of the Top 8s rates higher than a rare deck that had a good week.
• At majors the mix leans on the top: win rate 30%, conversion 15% and Top 8s 55%, with Day 2 finishes counting there too. A major is one weekend, and its list is about what won it.
• Tiers are fixed lines, not quotas: S starts 3.5 points over even, A at 1.5, B is about even, C reaches down to 2.5 under, D is below that.
• S and A also need 1.5% of the field. A deck needs 30 players and 150 games to get a tier at all. Strong decks below either line show up as spicy picks.
• Online lists score the last two weeks, with last week counting double, and a deck keeps last week's tier unless its score moves clearly past the line (0.75 points). The numbers on each card are last week's.
• Variants count as one deck: Dragapult and Dragapult Dusknoir are both Dragapult.

Online lists cover Monday to Sunday on play.limitlesstcg.com and are built every Monday. Major lists cover one weekend's Masters standings, a day or two after it ends.
